Ergonomics Innovation Award 2019 goes to ROVO
The "IGR - Institut für Gesundheit und Ergonomie e.V." (Institute for Health and Ergonomics) has awarded ROVO, Völkle Bürostühle GmbH, with the Ergonomics Innovation Prize, which is being presented for the first time in 2019. ROVO received it in the category "Office seating concepts and office furniture". The official presentation took place at the company in Lossburg-Wittendorf.
The prize is awarded in recognition of entrepreneurial achievement in the field of ergonomics. Christian Brunner, First Chairman of the IGR, personally presented the award and congratulated Mr. Völkle and the ROVO team.
In future, the IGR Innovation Award will be presented every year in eight different categories. Rovo Chair received it in the category "Office seating concepts and office furniture". Christian Brunner emphasised at the award ceremony that they knew Rovo with its innovative strength and had been working together intensively in the field of office ergonomics for 10 years. "We have had a highly interesting exchange for a long time. We have already met many employees during our training courses and further education. Ergonomics - you can feel it everywhere - is a real issue for the Rovo company," explains the IGR chairman.
Managing Director Rolf Völkle is pleased about the award: "For us, this is a nice recognition of our work. And it fills us with pride that we as a company are among the first to receive this award. The cooperation with the IGR has given us a lot of impetus." Rovo has been investing more in development at its Lossburg site for many years, and this has now paid off. The Ergo Balance technology, which was developed in-house, is one of the leading systems on the market for dynamic, active sitting. The company is now working on the fourth generation. The cooperation with renowned designers has also proven its worth. Rovo has received 7 design awards in the last 5 years alone.
